〜すぎる
〜すぎる means too; do too much. It is a JLPT N4 grammar point. This attaches to the masu-stem of a verb or the stem of an adjective and means that something is excessive. It can be used with good things too, but often suggests that there is too much of something.
Japanese sources describe it as 「〜しすぎる、程度が強すぎる」.
