〜間に
〜間に means while; during the time that .... It is a JLPT N4 grammar point. Use this pattern when something happens or is completed within a period. Compared with 「間」, 「間に」 focuses more on a point or completion inside that time.
Japanese sources describe it as 「〜している時間の中で」.
〜間に examples
子どもが寝ている間に、そうじをします。
I clean while the child is sleeping.
休みの間に、国へ帰りたいです。
I want to go back to my country during the break.
