〜ようと思う
〜ようと思う means think I will; intend to. It is a JLPT N4 grammar point. 「ようと思う」 expresses an intention or thought about doing something in the future. Attach 「と思う」 after the volitional form of a verb. Compared with 「つもりだ」, it can sound like a softer plan or something just thought of.
Japanese sources describe it as 「しようと考えている」.
