JLPT N4 grammar

〜ので

〜ので means because; since. It is a JLPT N4 grammar point. 「ので」 gives a reason or cause in a soft way. It often sounds calmer and more polite than 「から」. It follows the plain form, and nouns or na-adjectives take 「な」 before it.

Japanese sources describe it as 「理由・原因」.
