JLPT N4 grammar

〜ても

〜ても means even if; even though. It is a JLPT N4 grammar point. This attaches to the te-form of verbs or the ku-form of i-adjectives and means that the result does not change even under that condition. It is often used when the result is different from what might be expected. With nouns and na-adjectives, use 「でも」.

Japanese sources describe it as 「そうしても」.
