〜かどうか
〜かどうか means whether or not. It is a JLPT N4 grammar point. 「〜かどうか」 is used when you do not know whether something is true or not. It is often followed by expressions such as 「分かりません」, 「聞きます」, or 「知りたいです」. It turns a clause into the idea of “whether or not.”
Japanese sources describe it as 「〜か、そうでないか」.
