〜ほど〜ない
〜ほど〜ないは「同じ程度ではない」という意味のJLPT N4の文法です。 比べる相手と同じ程度ではないと言うときに使います。よく「AはBほど〜ない」の形で使い、後ろは否定表現になります。
英語では “not as ... as” にあたります。

今日は昨日ほど寒くないです。
Today is not as cold as yesterday.
この町は東京ほど人が多くないです。
This town does not have as many people as Tokyo.
